WAYNE – After a down season a year ago, Ramsey came into Friday night’s contest with Mahwah at the Ice Vault looking to show that they were a team to be reckoned with once again.
The 3-0 victory moved Mahwah to 4-1 and pinned the first loss of the season on Ramsey.
Mahwah got on the board first on a power play goal at 6:46 of the opening period.
Ryan Browne had given the Highlanders their first lead of the season with a score in the first period, but Sebastian Samuels tied it up with one second to go in that first period.
